Doug Lockwood, CFP®

Partner and Co-Founder

My passion for helping others achieve their financial dreams led me into this industry, where I could combine my financial knowledge with my desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. At Harbor Lights Private Wealth, I serve as Managing Partner, focusing on team leadership, providing business-building guidance to our team members, and working directly with clients to develop financial planning and wealth strategies that help families pursue their goals.

The joy of seeing our clients happy drives everything I do in this business. I specialize in financial planning, customized portfolio strategies, retirement planning, estate and tax planning, and creating tailored strategies specifically designed for high-net-worth families. My approach is built on understanding that each family's situation is unique and requires personalized strategies to pursue their specific objectives.

Growing up in Toms River, New Jersey, shaped my understanding of hard-working, family-oriented communities. I played baseball there from childhood through high school, and being part of a winning team taught me valuable lessons about collaboration and success that I carry into my work with the Harbor Lights Private Wealth team today. That foundation in teamwork continues to influence how I approach both client relationships and team leadership.

Today, I split my time between Naples, Florida, Winhall, Vermont, and the Jersey Shore with my beautiful family. My wife, Chris, and I have been married over 34 years, and we're blessed with three children: Sarah, Collin, and Dylan. Without their love and support, I wouldn't have achieved any success in this business. They provide me with the motivation to serve others and remind me daily why building financial confidence for families matters so much.

When I'm not working with clients or leading our team, I enjoy traveling with my wife and family, golf, fishing, and boating. I hold a BA in Economics and my CFP designation, which support my commitment to providing sophisticated financial guidance to the families we serve.

My journey into financial services began with a simple belief: the right blend of purpose and challenge creates the most meaningful work. At Harbor Lights Private Wealth, I serve as Partner, Owner, and Financial Advisor, overseeing daily operations while focusing on investment management, portfolio design, and financial planning. I've always wanted to help people and make a meaningful difference in their lives, and this career allows me to do that while maintaining a balance between building a successful practice and supporting my family and community.

What excites me most is helping people achieve their goals over extended periods and seeing my own growth as a professional. For many clients, financial decisions can feel overwhelming, and I take pride in helping bring clarity, confidence, and structure to the process. I specialize in comprehensive wealth management for high-net-worth individuals and families, including investment management, retirement and tax planning, estate and legacy planning, and business succession planning.

Growing up in Brielle and later living in places like Miami, Denver, and Southern California broadened my perspective on how people approach life and money in unique ways. Today I live in Wall with my wife Geralyn, our daughter Evie Rose, our son Owen, and our West Highland Terrier, Alfie. Being a husband and father gives me perspective on what really matters: providing security, building a legacy, and creating freedom to enjoy life with the people you love.

When not working with clients, I enjoy golf, snowboarding, beach time, boating, cycling, and traveling. I'm actively involved in community service, including work with Wings for Widows. My credentials include my CFP designation, MBA, Series 7, Series 66 Registrations held through LPL Financial, and life and health insurance licenses.

Rhonda Wainwright

Client Services Coordinator

What I love most about my role as Client Services Coordinator at Harbor Lights Private Wealth is helping and getting to know our clients. Since joining the firm in 2013, I've served as a key administrative point of contact for clients, providing thoughtful support and working to create a smooth and responsive client experience for everyone we serve.

My background in client service spans several years in the financial industry, including previous roles as Marketing and Client Service Officer at Akros Capital and Client Service Officer at Credit Suisse. This experience has given me a deep appreciation for the importance of operational excellence and genuine client care. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Business and Psychology from Concordia College and hold my FINRA Series 7 registration through LPL Financial.

Growing up in a small town in Minnesota, where everyone knows everyone, shaped my approach to building relationships. That sense of community and personal connection has always been important to me. Today, I live at the Jersey Shore, which I love for its small-town feel where one close-knit community connects to the next, creating that same homey atmosphere I grew up with.

My family is at the center of everything I do. My husband Scott and I have two teenage sons, Cole and Carter, who keep our lives interesting and full. When I'm not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and our dog, as well as bike riding. These simple pleasures remind me of what matters most and help me bring that same warmth and authenticity to my work with our clients at Harbor Lights Private Wealth.

Tory Collins

Client Services Coordinator

I joined Harbor Lights Private Wealth in April 2023, bringing over 22 years of experience in the financial services industry to my role as Client Services Coordinator. My career began at Merrill Lynch as a Wealth Management Associate, where I developed a deep understanding of client needs and investment services that continues to guide my work today.

My primary responsibilities include providing assistance to clients in person, via email, or over the telephone, scheduling meetings and conferences between clients and our team, and compiling and maintaining detailed records on client accounts. What drives me most in this role is building and maintaining close relationships with clients, making sure they feel supported and valued throughout their experience with our firm.

I earned my Bachelor's degree from Mount Saint Mary's College and hold FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations through LPL Financial, which reflect my commitment to professionalism and industry best practices. My role involves supporting both clients and advisors to create a seamless experience across all aspects of account servicing and communication, and I take pride in contributing to operational excellence for our team.

When I'm not working with clients, I enjoy camping and walking my dog.
