David Riebe brings nearly three decades of institutional trading and global executive leadership to Harbor Lights Financial Group. After graduating from West Virginia University in 1995 with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, David launched his career on Wall Street at Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder, where he quickly rose to become Head Trader and Market Maker on the European desk. He then spent nearly a decade at Natixis (2002–2010) serving as Managing Director on the International Desk. Most recently, David spent 15 years at Canaccord Genuity (2010–2025) as Managing Director and Head of the European Trading Desk. This extensive background in cross-border markets and senior leadership allows David to drive comprehensive financial strategy today. Outside the office, David enjoys golfing and fishing in the Wilmington area with his family. He lives with his wife, Tara and their three children, Carter, Cole, and Kaia, alongside their two dogs, Misty and Cali, and a beloved flock of six chickens: Peeps, Waffles, Peaches, Butterball, Maple, and Pickles.
